素材には肉厚で卓越したタフさを誇る、撥水性も備えた特殊人工皮革を採用。
表面はマットな質感でサラサラとした肌触り。

持ち手には腕時計のベルトなどに採用れることの多いフッ素ゴムを用い、ゴム特有の嫌な臭いがなく、高い耐久性と、手に馴染む反発性が特徴。
また、持ち手は肩掛けも可能な長さに設計しています。

A4サイズが余裕を持って入る大きさがあり、内側に2つのポケットを配置。
マチには底板を貼り合わせていますので、型崩れせずにしっかり自立します。

この商品に使用されている素材は"人工皮革"と呼ばれる合成皮革の一種で、より本革に近い質感と耐久性を追求した特殊素材です。
主にソファーや車のシート、財布、ランドセルなどに使用され、強度や軽さ、耐水性が求められるプロダクトで活躍しています。

一口に革製品と言っても、表面をポリウレタンや顔料で加工しているものが多く、それらと同等の耐久年数と強度、質感を備えながら、ケアや管理の手軽さと軽さ、製造過程で端材が出にくいエコロジカルな観点からnimnilでは人工皮革に着目しました。

今回選んだ人工皮革は、レザーの繊維を再現するため、超極細状のナイロンやポリエステル繊維を立体的に絡み合わせることでコラーゲン層を再現した、さらさらした手触りの肉厚な不織生地にポリウレタンを浸みこませてコーティングしたものになります。
レザー内部の繊維を再現することで、より本革に近い質感、弾力等を実感頂けます。
